If I told you that doctors in the United States were actually conducting experiments on whether or not prayers for the ill help their chances at recovery, you probably wouldn't believe me. You might think I was pulling your leg, or just poking fun at Western naivete. Hey, I don't blame you. I'd probably think I was joking as well.

Well, I'm not. I actually came across the following article, on MSN's Web MD.com, that says just that: that certain doctors in the US are conducting scientific experiments in an attempt to determine whether or not prayer helps patients get better. And guess what they found out. It really does!
