Do I love torshi... count the ways
Asking you to name the different kinds of pickled vegetables in our majestic torshi photo was not easy, but those that knew, really knew.
We received our first correct answer on August 23, and our tenth on October 23, exactly two months later.
In between we got a lot of near-misses. And a lot of far-out grabs. We felt bad for the people who guessed 5 and sometimes even 6 of the 9 vegetables pickled in the jars, so close yet so far from the elusive prize. Which in this case, of course, seemed especially fitting. The cairolive.com I Love Torshi bumper sticker is the Pic of the Week's standard prize. It's just a coincidence that the pic's subject matter is actually torshi.
In any case, on to the real pickles.
An answer consisting of any seven of the below was considered correct:
