After the gray, a new day
Cairo was inundated with rain over the weekend, causing traffic jams and lake-like puddles, but clearing the air once the rain stopped. Today, the sun is shining, the wind is brisk, and the sky brilliant and blue, after at least a week of pollution-induced smog.
