Fruitless search I've been searchin' for the song or the music of the beginning of Yehia El-Fakharani's Lil Adala Wogoh Kiteera (Justice Has Many Faces). I meant the music when it begins when they sing: "may hemmenach ...etc." Yeah I have been surfing a lot & I tried several ideas until I found something' about it on www.cairolive.com:) I hope that you can help me find it... I want to download it as an mp3 file if possible, I like the song so much. By the way I'm Lebanese & I like the Egyptian accent, it drives us crazy & all of us in Lebanon were lookin' for "Justice Has Many Faces". It's a wonderful mousalsal, the most perfect one I have ever seen in my whole life. Thank God that I found this site -- maybe it will help me :) it's a nice site, absolutely. please reply me as soon as possible, I'll be thankful :) Fady
Lesson time Cairolive helps me out a lot because of my weakness in reading and
writing Arabic and inability to read Arabic newspapers well. It
would be helpful also if cairolive adds 'classified' ads on things for
sale around the city, garage sales, people selling antiques, new
people around town who offer various services, etc.. mag
Big link
Your site is professionally
designed and very informative. I will be checking it frequently for
news and information from an Egyptian perspective.
I have added a link to your site on my World Media page. I have also added a link to the "Town Hall" story you recommended. Thank you again,

I loved your tunnel pics -- especially the mashrabiyya'd air shaft. But what about the "unique architectural quirks" that the tunnel-builders may have bored through, such as, most notably, the 11th century Bab Al-Barkuki? Arab Contractors and the SCA have both said that they found no antiquities during construction -- as if there was nothing there. However, as a look at any map of medieval Cairo indicates, it would be practically impossible for the tunnel not to have run into some substantial Fatimid structures. Could that be the reason for the big "bump" that the drill is rumored to have run into a couple of years ago? Neil
